Robert G. Wallace

Managing Shareholder

Mr. Wallace is the Managing Shareholder of the Firm and a Member of the Firm’s Business Valuation Department.  He has valued businesses for mergers and acquisitions, estate and gift tax, eminent domain, marital dissolution, and minority shareholder actions.  Mr. Wallace is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and  holds two designations within the appraisal community including the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation from the American Society of Appraisers.

Mr. Wallace has testified on numerous occasions in both federal and state courts on valuation, economic and accounting matters.  He has also been appointed to serve as trustee, joint expert and arbitrator.  He has been a presenter of continuing education for attorney and CPA groups and has lectured on valuation issues.

Prior to founding Wallace & Toney Valuation Advisors, Inc., in 1985 (formerly Wallace Valuation Advisors, Inc. and Wallace & Associates, Inc.), Mr. Wallace was a partner in the Sacramento office of Touche Ross & Co. (currently Deloitte).  Mr. Wallace graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and received his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.

Mr. Wallace is a member of the American Society of Appraisers.  He is a past Vice President and board member of the Sacramento Chapter of the American Society of Appraisers.  He is also a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a past Board Member of its Sacramento Chapter.  He has served as Chairman of the Business Valuation Section (statewide), and Chairman of the Litigation Committee.  Mr. Wallace is active in the local community where he has served on the Boards of KVIE, Mercy Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, and the American Diabetes Association.
